Ironbase Pty Ltd, established in 2021, was founded to deliver local expertise in ground support, addressing complex challenges with the speed, precision, and safety required to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
The company was founded by young Batswana professionals—recipients of the Botswana Top Achievers Scholarship—who studied at some of the world’s leading universities. Driven by a commitment to national development, they returned to Botswana to apply their global education to the advancement of the country’s mining and civil engineering sectors.
The four directors bring over five years of hands-on experience gained from working on high-risk, specialized ground support projects within Botswana’s mining industry. They have successfully led complex operations, particularly in slope support and ground stability, earning a reputation for reliability, technical excellence, and innovation. This experience has enabled Ironbase to build and retain proprietary expertise, positioning the company to deliver projects of all scales and complexities.
In addition to slope management, the team also has proven capability in contact mining. Looking ahead, Ironbase aspires to play a transformative role in the development of mining and civil infrastructure across the African continent.
